I had a cousin of mine let one of his Gm techs install my comp 918 springs. I figured it would be Ok since he had been "the man" around here for performance vettes. When I picked up my truck he informed me he had "done me a favor" by updating my computer with all the new updtaes from GM. Needless to say my 8psi STS set up with injectors and fuel pump did NOT like this. I barely made it home. I immediately called Allen @ Nelson perf and he is sending me a new tune. I was planning on getting a retune after the springs, but not this way. Oh well, at least we have good resources..

    Sucks to be me!

That sucks man, well at least you get your retune. Whenever I take it in I tell them if they touch the computer they die!

I've made a habit of taping up the obII port and put a note not to flash. When i bring my truck in for service.

That's a great idea! Then it's clear to the service tech w/o having to depend on them remembering you said to not touch it.
