Wrap them cause it looks cool too. I had my pacesetter LT's wrapped.

09/21/2010 02:31 <danger_ranger83> I'm not really worried about the looks...I want it to be fast and ugly...bc no one wants to get outrun by something ugly
It will void the warranty, but I wrapped mine I used a 2" 50 ft roll on each one and that was just about right, had a few feet left over. I like it because it not only looks better IMO, but you can run the crap out of your truck and pop the hood and still put your fingers on the header immediatly after. I do NOT recommend doing this and want no responsibility for it, just saying I have done it haha.

Stainless cools fast. I can touch a pipe on a new truck just a minute or so after it is shut off.
Then again, I turn bacon bare fingered.
send them off to HPC (High Performance Coatings) or Jethot. They will coat them inside and out....cool to the touch faster, and won't rust.

it ain't that I'm too big to listen to the rumors, It's just that I'm too damn big to pay attention to 'em..That's the difference
a bunch of local guys have used HPC coated ones for years, never had issues...but we're further south.

I would wrap them, but use the silicone high heat spray first on the header, then wrap the header, then spray the high heat silicone spray over the wrap lightly. They will be water proof and sealed. DEI makes the spray.

Steel headers coated inside and out won't rust through here in decades. Depends on the environment.
DO NOT coat them on the inside. You will end up with O2 issues. Trust me. Didn't happen to me, but it was the culprit for another member who spent hundreds of dollars and hours of time trying to figure things out...
I would definitely check with Pacesetter about their warranty--and if it mentions wrap voiding it...
