I was aware of two Transgo kits for the 4L60E, the HD-2 and FSK, and saw another, the "SK", mentioned in another thread. Can anyone summarize the functional differences between these kits? There's not a whole lot of informtaion to be found on Transgo's web site.

I have the PSK, the one with the video. It has not been installed yet, as I'm still gathering the other parts to beef up my 4L60E. Should I get the HD-2 and dump my PSK on eBay?

PSK = HD2. Just that PSK is the over the counter type of deal ya can get from places like Summit and Jegs, the HD2 is more made for the Professional Mechanic.

Not to worry, they're the same. The stickers are different, the instructions should be the same (I know on Ford AODs they're diff between the PSK and HP kits), and ya have a vid tape to give ya an idea.

Yeah, I'd be lost w/o the video. It doesn't go exactly along w/ the written instructions, but it helps considerably. Have already watched 3 times. What a geek!

To be honest w/ you Hit Man, I'd rather just sit here and stare at your avatar rather than watch the Transgo vid again

    Pretty funny!

If you're planning to do this install yourself, I'd highly recommend that ATSG book for your own installs. It's a damned good reference source to have!

Just checked this out. Wow!! And the pricing is very reasonable. I'd have alot more confidence in myself with this kind of reference material.

    Hit Man, you

It's nice for torque specs and exploded diagrams of what you're getting into. It may help, or scare ya off. For the $15 or whatever, it's WELL worth it. I have them for quite a few autos.
