    Transmission

A guy that builds many transmissions in my area said he would charge me 2000 to rebuild my tranny with everything needed to handle 500 horsepower to the wheels. He does has a 2006 ss Intemanator so he did his tranny and the truck is really fast warranty for 24months or 24,000miles what do you guys think. Good or not? Also what type of stall how much i was thinking 2600 want my four tires to burn them taking off the line. Want to do my tranny before it breaks its slipping right now and i cant be without my truck so help.

For a local guy charging $2k, it had better be darn freakin good. Nice warranty too. A 2600 is all you should need for a stall since you have a Whipple.

Kinda plus one. That doesn't sound like a bad price to me for a 500 HP 24/24 guarantee...
