The longer you go to school, the more $$ you make, the less you have to work.

Yes, if you "know" someone, you can ride their shirttails to success. However, you'll always be the guy who needed the help to make it. Didn't have what it takes to do it yourself. I've made several friends wealthy, but when we get together they always thank me for helping them.

College degree just opens the door at "bigger" companies. Most other

cant say I agree with this. you can have a good life going into trades, i know this better than most. I make a good living as a pnuedraulics technition working on aircraft, but its not what I want to be forever.

its all on what you want. I want to be in engineering, not something I can get into by knowing the right people. after I get my degree knowing the right people will help alot, but before then I wont have a chance.

Not always true, unless you are in the medical field or something. I dont have a degree and do pretty well. I worked my way from the bottom to the top in my field in less than 7 yrs and make more than double some of the people that graduated college when i was suppose to. And still make 50k a year more than my friend who is a 8yr electrical engineer. So you dont have a degree to work less puls i only work 6 months a year. But Taylor i wish you the best homie and have a little fun with the co-eds

Statistically people with a bachelor's degree make around $25,000 a year more than someone with just a high school diploma. The number rises even higher with a master's or PHD.

This is possibly the most out of turn BS post I've ever read here. My sister has a Masters degree and makes nothing now that she has kids. She did use her degree to work in more than one mental hospital. My dad has one too..he got his after he retired from IBM. His is related to his charitable non-profit organization so you could say he doesn't use his for big profit either. My mom went back to school after all those years of taking care of my sister then me to get her BA only to get paid almost nothing to help severely disabled kids in the poorly run and ineffective Texas public school system only to give up later because of her health.

Taylor, have fun and do what's right for you but never listen to people on the internet (including me) that tell you what to do.

ok another girl opinion... being 19 (me) almost 20.. i have spent 9,500 so far to get a ''better'' education! BUT... my degrees will be in the Medical Field that will NEVER go away.. anyway i think it great either u go to a trade school, tech school, university, or junior college. Your the only person who is gonna choose to get what u want out of it. You can go and fly threw and not use it, or you can go work your butt off ( like i did) and get what u want in life. I myself went to ATI N. richland hills for 10 months just to get my foot in the door. I am going to school after 2 years of working the ''field'' , for my B.S. in nursing then all the way up to Flight Nurse. But anyway enough about me. Taylor if this is what you want to do, then give it all you got. Ok the study tactics i used was alot if index cards and highlighters (those are life savers). and Sticky notes lol . But anyway just my 2 cents ok more like 5....
