steering wheel clockspring problems

im hearing a click when i turn and people are telling me its the clockspring
now can i ignore it or is the mothalover gonna lock up on me if i dont so can ya please help ppl

Anyway, probably not the noise you have, more likely the upper steering shaft bearing or tilt sphere.
