I haven't seen a z06 cam alone for less than 100 dollars in a long time, seems like everyone wants them nowadays

You have to know where to find them. I've bought and sold about 5 of them just to earn some money. On one forum they might be worth the cost of shipping, and another people will pay $150.

I have paid as little as $45 for one, and my most recent one I plan to actually use for the truck cost me $60 plus shipping

That means you have less than $55 to get springs best case. I'm sure there are good deals out there but you probably have to know a lot of people and do local deals.
