    stall on stock truck

    Well yesterday i got the servo and shift kit on my truck...and the guy that did it for me told me that i should put on 2600 stall on my truck..I wanted to know if it will work good on the street cause its my daily driver? and will it work good on my truck since i dont have a cam? one more questionWill it affect me on long trips since i drive to mexico??Appreciate the help

    Around town it will affect your mileage a little. Not enough to stop you from it though IMO. The highway wont bother it. And a 2600 is good with a cam too. You just haft to be careful to pick the cam wisely.

    2600 won't hurt the highway at all assuming there is nothing else wrong. Might actually help MPG in town depending....

    yea most deff ,help more mpg and performance, if your planning on putting a cam leater i would recomend a bigger stall more like a 3600 ...

    ok..its cause the guy was telling me to get a double clutch stall so the oil wont heat up when i go on long trips..

    i got a 3k stall on my truck and i drive it in stop n go traffic just put a big cooler on the trans and i got a stock cam for the moment

    I have a lot of guys with 2800-3000 stall in stock applications and still tow. Just get a big cooler to keep the temps low and you will be fine. On long trips you will be in lock up, so MPG's are the same. The 11" sounds like it would be perfect for you. Here is a link to it on my website. I can build it to 2800 for you.

    I have a Performabuilt 3800 & a 220/224 cam and I get about the same mileage. If I'm not wrong(somebody correct me if I am) your tuner should be able to lock it for normal driving until you hit the tow/haul button when ever you're gonna race.
