Thanks, right now it is an 01 Z71 with the 5.3l, 3.73's, etc. I have the STS turbo running 5 psi, and Allen's tune. I just recently bought a Whipple for the truck, and I am beggining the swap from the turbo over to the Whipple. I know a lot of you are going to ask why![]()
The main reason is I want TQ, and down low grunt. I was not looking for a fast truck.
Mods being done this month by me are a new Nelson tune, 44# inj, 160 stat, Whipple SC, and hook up my IAT gauge, and my AEM Wideband. Future mods this year include Yank 2600 TC, a TransGo kit, fuel preasure reg, along with a new LS unit in the rear to replace my worn one.

You mean to say you have the money buy the STS AND the Whipple? Geez....Well, with the whipple and injector combo you should a nice gain. Are you gonna replace the pulleys as well?

Nah, just awesome credit. My best friend is buying the turbo, so I am not at a big loss. Paid the card off for the turbo, so when he pays me, the Whipple will go. I am keeping the 6lb pulley for now until the tranny gets over hauled. The shift kit TC and new internals are next on my list for the 60e. Then I go up in boost.
