    06 1500HD with a 6.0?

    What HP did the 6.0 bring on this truck? Going to look at one and was wondering. Thanks

    Pretty sure it was rated at 300 hp in the HD's.

    300 or 325 depending on the year. It should be an LQ4.

    Yup. 1500HD's were 300 HP and 360 TQ. This was the only truck in which that engine was available.

    Isn't the same exact engine as a 6.0 2500HD?

    and its the same motor in the 2500 non HD.

    Yeah but non-HD 2500's were only 99-2000 so they have the different flywheel and iron heads FWIW.

    Should be an LQ4 with 300HP and 360 TQ. A guy I work with had one and it was a good tow rig, but he paid a bit more for registration because of the weight fees.
