24s!? Jeesh those are gonna slow you down like crazy! Id go 20s that are lightweight or 18s..or go 22s and have a track set of wheels

Dude its a long process Ill tell ya that, and you wont have to swap an engine like I did lol. Or take off a body lift ha

Do you still have your stock parts? You will have to reweld on the diff. crossmember and I would def get a wheel alignment after or align it as best as you can before you drive it.
What I did was sell my lift for how much I can get drop parts for and trade the wheels for some 20s +tires. Then I was set. I have a set of black stock 17s I run at the track though.

Do what YOU wanna do though man, you can keep on the lifted/fast road but Im telling you thats lots of $$$ man, Ive broken so much **** on my lifted setup its not even worth it anymore for me(at least on our trucks). It took me a while to decide too man cause its a LOT of work doing the swap. Its only worth it though if you find someone who will buy the parts and take it off for you or doing it yourself though. Ill tell you this much, from my experience, my truck is fast as helllll right now and a HUGE increase from being lifted so just an FYI

Oh and depending on females "preferences" down there, women will NOT like the fact you lowered your **** LOL! Ive had like 4 bitch me out and call me stupid and other gay crap for doing it. Okay maybe Im a tool, I dunno but *the bird* goes to them, its my life

Keep it high!!, For the money and time, pick up a 99-02 2wd and make it fast. I was considering dropping mine but i decided to kepp it big, i have the 79 ta to make fast, and the TB to DD. One thing i might do is go back to a 33 with a 10'' wide wheel for that wide stance that ball joints and bearings love.

Yeah, nutn better than a country girl who loves big trucks. +1 Aggie

I ran the bias ply 35 13.50 and 15.50 and they both handle great on the road even in winter unlike my boggers I ran. They didn't even have the shakes with the cold weather that bias plys get with flat spots till they warm up.

I'll keep this one like it is.. when i graduate i'll prolly get a '10 Denali with a 6.2 lol that'll be the fast truck, and this one will turn into the weekend play-toy. I got all my stock parts except the shocks, i sold them to a friend.
