Since I have the floor shifter now, I want to lose the on-the-column-shifter as well as the plastic cover with the rubber boot for the shifter.
So I assume a cover from a factory manual transmission equipped truck would work. Anyone have one or the ability to get one?
I have the ability of course. Not sure what you want to spend. If you pull the shift sector off the column and sell that one way or another, throw the boot away, and buy new stuff you might come out close to even....maybe...Remember, there are a lot of BLUE collars out there that get pissed at their shifter for reasons unwritten and find the NEW parts are expensive. BTDT on the "get paid to fix it" side.
I guess just let me know what you can do to get one...I definitely want one...for a reasonable price of course.
