2005 Chevy 4.3 V6...NEEDS TO GO

I have a 2005 regular cab long bed chevy silverado with the 4.3 v6 in it. Its finally paid off, and first bid of business isget a v8. I was gonna buy a new truck with a 5.3 or 6.0 in it already but think this would be easier. I want the 5.3 or 6.0 v8 engine in it.What would be the best route to go,what components will i need,will i need a new trans?Please please help me. Remember itsan 05 all the threads i read about are never swap outs for like newer trucks.

there is a swap out thread for the 99-03's but there is some differences, same basic prinples, just make sure you get a same year harness get the DBW flashed out of the V8 pcm and tie back the wires somewhere.

i cant decide i was gonna just sell my truck and get a truck with a 5.3 engine already in it, but been thinkin bout just taking out my engine and puttint the 5.3 or 6.0 engine in it.
