Nope.
The pick-ups changed in 1999 although the GMT400 body (like Greg's or Ricky's) was available as late as 2000 (therefore as a 1999 or 2000) as a 2500. The utility waited to 2000 to change to the GMT800 body WITH EXCEPTION of the 2000 Tahoe Z71 which was a GMT400 body. This is confusing since they offered a Tahoe and Suburban Z71 in the 800 body later.
The major point is the LS engines were all in 800's and the SFI Vortecs were in the 400's.
Another fun fact is the 99-00 GMT800 2500's were all 6.0's and NOT HD's 'cause the HD option was made for the body raise to fit the Allison LCT1000....since the DMax and the 8100 didn't debut until 2001, neither did the Allison or the 2500HD. Another funny is the 99 GMT800 2500 6.0 had iron heads.
Have fun!
