    With my swap, I found that the 6.0L/4L80E were actually 3 or 4 inches shorter than my old 350/700R4. Even after adapting the motor mounts back towards the firewall, it still fits great. I only did that so I didn't have to cut my drive lines. With my off-roading, I don't want to have that done every time I break a drive shaft.
