Yeah, i am sorry to see it happen too. They pretty much "tucked" it under on saturday.....along with the "chefs" I mean chiefs! Yeah i will have pics to come soon. The swap has yet to start. I am still in the parts collecting process and the block and heads are still at the machine shop. Trans is built. I went through the rest of the drivetrain this weekend. New springs and u-bolts and getting ready to install cal-traks soon. I still need to purchase a shifter and other odds and ends. Plus a little warning to LS1Truck.com The truck is not pretty.....but most projects arent trailer queens starting out. It is currently my DD.
Will post pics and updates soon.

Also, Does anyone know where i can find a set of injectors....34lb+? The stock 22's on the LQ4 intake i am using will not support the power I am looking to produce.

Haha...yeah, well they could have tucked them under on Saturday--but there is nothing to tuck!!! LOL... And the "Chefs"--I remember that commercial...it was hilarious!

Dude--don;t worry if the truck isn;t pretty. We have several guys who are doing swaps with not-so-pretty trucks. One guy, SCIV, is doing the complete sleeper with his 68 step side. He is keeping the old bucket looking the way it is currently--so don;t feel bad if it is uglier than a mud fence.

There are several places to buy plug and play injectors. You can even buy some 8.1L truck injectors... Depending on what year LS1 you have, they probably came with the 28 lb injectors. Try and get your hands on something in the 30 lb range. 42s would be too much, but they would definitely do the job...

Yeah. I was told that 42's would be too much fuel for the setup. The heads are 2001 castings. Engine shop did a pocket porting job and blended the bowls. So i will be getting decent flow out of a stock casting head. I am thinking about leaving the truck the way it sits and also going for the sleeper look. I have the "general" cancerous spots on the truck i.e. wheel wells and cab corners and the notorious late 80's early 90's scratch and peel GM paint! The truck is going to be a junkyard warrior!

Can't the injector PWM be tuned for larger injectors without a rich condition?
