Just an update!

I emailed SAR contact and he's going to get back to me soon.
He warned me he would be out for about 1-2weeks doing business.
This was last week, so we'll hear something shortly.

Tentative dates are March 7th, Feb 21st and Feb 28th.

As soon as I get final word on the date, I'll post up the official banner, info and details.

Just keeping you guys updated, let's keep this alive!

Ya, that was my first thought, but two things against us, spring break would be the following week and SAR has it's major races throughout march for 3+ weeks. I just don't want to get caught in the middle of it. Plus, I don't want these guys who have significant others to wear out their passes, lol.
IF we wait til april, it might rain.
Feb are great here in SA (i hope so), it's usually cool, 55 or so, sunny, no humidity, I'm sure lots will run their best time that day.

It's still open if there are any other suggestions.

if they are that packed in March then i would agree last week in Feb...and Spring Break lol what's that...hell the kids can just stop in and race on the way to Padre...this is a Saturday event right...if anything im sure some people on here has portable heaters and such

Sleeper....relax. It's not that sucky I'm sure. I don't like people throwing out money then pulling it back with restrictions but do what you want. My Blazer is slow as Christmas but will do a 30 second or 2 minute 3rd gear burnout so where do you draw the line...? Especially when you guys are talkin' about restrictions on the farthest distance traveled award. I mean...dude.

Oh it's not a big deal, I wasn't trying to come off as an idiot just kind of pokin fun at myself. And yeah I'm sure my truck'll do a burnout but I just havn't tried that many times as it's my DD and I can't afford to break anything. My old Dodge on the other hand it's got no problem smokin 'em.
