    advice on fuel system

ok so heres the deal ! Im gonna run a new fuel system with all proper advice.I have been running electric aeromotive fuel pump, fuel management unit,reg,100 micron filter and 1 way check valve on my frame rail.ive got a russel bung on the back of my gas tank with blue 1/2 rubber and -8 all the way to the russell fuel line fitting on my rail.
    problems.
1.The check valve keeps the fuel up there ok ,but then it bleeds down after about 1/2 hr. and id say its bleeding into my cylinders because its flooding up and i ate an o2 sensor and sum plugs.so how wil i accomplish same purpose of keeping fuel up theyre but not bleeding into my cylinders?i was having to turn the key on and wait to gain pressure in order to start properly.i think its a returnless system although i have 2 lines on the frame, only 1 goes to the intake, the other is somewere above the tranny, and nothing comes out of it.
    2. The rubber russel fuel line doesnt take much heat.I almost got killed today when the line was on my header wrap and decided to burst, gallons of fuel quickly.so i wanna run 1/2 in the aluminum feed and return red and blue.let me know if theyres any issue with this.
3.My return line off the regulator is going from reg. to the factory feed line in the tank.
    4. Id like to install the new setup under the bed higher than the tank.Is that gona work.some say yes some say no,i guess depending on the pump.supposedly the pump has to be lower than the tank feed or equal.
What im looking for is ideas on how tomap out a complete ,safe system.front too back ,and parts involved.i plan on using what i have for parts but ,i dont mind buying more.I just want it right with no issues.
5.I was planning on coming out of my factory sender with my lines,by cutting ,drilling the factory sender in the tank and sending them through theyre so my motor doesnt puke and fart when i stop and go . it gets an air bubble from the bung in the back of the tank.let me know if this is the best way to come out of the tank without issues.
i know theyres hundreds of threads on this but i only have at the most 48hrs to get parts ordered for end of week.i will be looking through them thow for ideas.thank ahead for the help here guys, im not gonna do this a 3rd time.i just want a good thought out fuel system, locations of all parts ,order of parts etc.
Sorry for the long write up but i wanted to be thourogh {idk} about question i might be ask. Thanks again.

I just left my 255 pump in the tank, got a aeromotive gm fuel adapter to a -10 an pro-flex fuel line, then into a 100 micron high flow filter, then to the aeromotive a1000 pump which is mounted to the frame, then to a 10 micron filter, then up to the regulator and a -6 an return to the filler neck and -10 an to a y block then -8 an to the rails. i dont have a check, sometimes i have to cycle the key twice but most of the time it pumps right up when first turned on. i ran the line up the back of the tranny away from all hot parts. hope this helps.

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......

thanks mic ,well appreciated.quik, idk for sure that it was leaking down to the injectors ,but idk were else it would of went bcause i have returnless.my check valve kept sticking so i know it was working, lol.so i guess ill just goo w/o the check valve.
as of right now im goin to install bulkheads on the factory sender to suck the fuel.mics idea on the return in the fillerneck seems good also .im trying to use as much hardline as possible, because of my bad expierience yesterday, lol.mic ,how is the return hooked to filler neck? thanks guys.

i took a brass 1 1/2"(i think) double barb straight and tapped a 3/8 npt fitting in the side to run the -6 an to. then cut the filler neck and put the brass in line with hose clamps. it works well. I like the hard line but the dang hard line adapters seem to always end up leaking. just my exp. with them. but the hard line is much cheaper too. proflex and fitting are alot more expensive.

wich fittings for the hard have you used mic?theyres 2 ,and supposedly 1 is better than the other.i ordered the 3 pc fittings.do they leak bcause of the way they seat.i dont even care about price,i just want quality.those russell with the hose are pricey, and im about too throw them all out that are on my truck.lol.i just dont want any more mishaps like the other day.FIRE.lol.jeeez i didnt even ask ,does the hard line take high pressure?
