I got a deal on some slicks at a local swap meet. They are 29x9x 15, you can fit a 15 inch rim on these trucks right? Ive heard you have to grind a little off the caliper though...does this sound right?

I've heard that those of us with drums on the back can fit 15" rims, but you folks with discs on the back are stuck with 16s.
I've got 15" rims all around when I race my Impala SS and it has 12" discs all around. Don't know if that helps![]()
yeah. I bought 15's with slicks too. I test fitted on my 04 with discs and youll have to remove just a little. I will be posting a how to thread tomarrow with pics.
alot depends on the wheel, steel wheels are thinner and easier to fit, most alum 15s are thicker, and would require you to grind alot.... i wouldnt do too much. the 05+ guys with drums can fit 15s no prob. hope it helps. my .02

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......

These 15x9s are for sale on the local Craigslist for $150. I'm tempted to pick them up, but I only need 2. I could put full slicks on 1 pair for track stuff and DOT slicks or Drag Radials on the other pair for street stuff.
Or is there any chance 15s will fit on the front?
