Oh by the way the government aint got crap to do with it. Minimum wage going up is not a good thing. It means everything else will go up as well and one thing will go down. The value of the one lowly dollar. The best thing going for you is your personality and your brain. Use them together and you can make lots and lots of money.

Ill stick with sears for now, Haven't figured out what department yet, but they need a HR assistant.
What you need to do is get a job like I had. I was a Land surveyor while I went to fire school and EMT-classes. My wife worked at walmart making $9 an hour and I made $11. We cut some corners, layed low for a while on spending, like 6 months, then after I graduated She went to college. I got hired as a firefighter making $27k. 3 months later got a raise for doing good to $30k. Made some friends and applied at a better dept. Did well on the interview, and got the job over 60 people. Started me at $37k. Now I make $39k and in December I get a raise to $43k. Wife has 2 jobs and goes to college. We both work our asses off but no kids helps. If I get the LT position next year when they do promotions, I will be bumped to $58k. You gotta work hard and take all overtime you can get along with cutting on spending. If you do you'll be happy later.
