Tonight a bunch of us are sitting around at a usual spot here in McAlester when some guy comes rolling up in a new model Shelby GT. He's calling anyone and everyone out. So London calls Dink. Dink brings the TRT truck down and says lets run. I tried to tell the guy that this is an 11 second truck on the bottle, but he literally said, "Tell this guy he can lick the sh*t off my balls when I'm done with him." So he says he wants to race for money until Dink pulls in. The guy immediately starts calling friends looking for backup... No one comes. They go out to a spot we run and marked off a quarter. RADOS (Mustang GT) goes too and says he'll run. Dink does three honks and the guy sits still.... so he eases into it and the guy takes off. Dink can't hook on street tires so he's playing catchup. At the 1/4 mile, the TRT truck is AT LEAST 8 lengths ahead. That's what I saw, but others were saying closer to 12. The funny thing is, RADOS started a length behind the guy in the Shelby and still pulled around him and beat him by 1-2. I was trying to hurry back to catch the race and got the tail end of it. I was trying to get it on video for you guys but getting the camera took too much time. Basically, TRT outruns two GT or better Mustangs by 8-10 lengths.
A friend got a video on her phone, she's going to send it to me so I can post it up. Basically, you can see the TRT truck scream by, and 2 seconds later, the competition.
Someone will probably correct me if I'm wrong on some details.
