didnt really where to post this but i bought a no name brand intake off of ebay $60 only dislike was lack of instructions/pictures to put it together but i figured it out but anyway i put it on and drove around a lil and parked it over night and then drove about 20 easy miles or so around town to give the comuter time to reset and damn did it make a diffirence i was surprised but not only by the power but normaly i go about 250-260 miles to a half tank (31gal tank) and well after the intake and i filled it up the day after i put it on and well now ive gone 330miles on a half tank i also filled up with gas from BP/ammco ect. anyway here is a pic

WTF?!?!??!?!?! You went 330 on a HALF tank (15 gallons)??? In a Yukon XL(Suburban)????? Mother of GOD! Effin A--I am lucky to get 120 miles on a 1/2 tank (12 gallons). But lately since I have been good on the throttle pedal, I think I averaged 17.8 on hwy/city mixed. But I bet it would dip down to about 120 miles of all city driving...

lol hell ive never checked the hourmeter lol. i ran some seafoam through the gas too to help clean things up a lil im probably going to change the oil this weekend too not sure what im going to go to though. it has just over 60k on it not quiet sure what brad oil i want to run in it though. i ran penzoil 10w-30 in my 98 camaro and my 86 t/a i run valvoline 5w-30 in my 82 ran mobil 1 5w30 fully synthetic in my honda that i had for 5months and blew it up lol and ran castrol 5w-30 fully synthetic in my dodge after it got the new motor with a mopar filter. i dunno what i want to run in this though i do know that i do not want to put a fram filter on it. anyone have any suggestions on what oil/filter i should run? regardless of what oil i run it will be changed every 3k miles. oh about the broken gauges lol i dont think so lol ive been known to runem wide open but i can be very easy and conservitive sometimes lol people told me the same thing when i DD my 86 t/a in high school i was getting 21-22mpg city but it was lg4 305 (165hp) carb 700r4 tranny 2.73 gears and 210,xxx miles lol
