Should I Adjust Shift Pressure w/Handheld

I've got a Superchips handheld tuner and when I switch to the 93 tune at the track, I usually max out the shift pressure setting as well. But I have been reading that maybe I shouldn't do that on a completely stock tranny. I just thought that increasing shift pressures would help preserve the tranny on the WOT runs. Any input?

I would suggest purchasing a shift kit, they only cost about 100 bucks and a vette servo...then put the pressures back to stock...you can take out some TQ but I wouldnt take it all out until you get a built trannny

IMO if you have a shift kit and servos you can take out all the TM...most if not all tuners i know do that.

So by maxing out the shift pressure, I'm removing all the torque management?

Because this is my wifes daily driver and I can't afford to keep 93 in it all the time. So when not at the track I tune it to the 87 "performance tune"(what superchips calls it.) Poor boy racing at its best
