I could not justify spending 150 parts and labor for the corvette servo. So I went down to Transmission parts wharehouse in houston and they sold me the complete corvette servo with new seals ready to go for 10 flat. I just installed it, and it only took about 45 mins. the hardest part was getting the damn snap ring back on the cover.. had to hold pressure on the cover while trying to squeze the ring, what a bitch! Anyway shift problem is resolved so I will be at the track friday if the weather holds.
Yeah, getting it back on there probably took 40 of the 45 minutes. I usually get a floor jack handle and push on it with that.
And your truck should be slightly rich at idle due to your cam.
