ok, everyone has just about had a chance with the dodge ram with the hemi option. well two of my recent encounters with them went like this.
going down a two lane road and i pass one as he waits to get on the road i am on. he gets on and quickly gains up on me and rides my tail for a few miles. there was a car in front of me and no good spots to pass safely. finally when the passing lane was clear and straight, i gave the hemi guy a good view of my intentions by throwing the blinker on real early. once i seen him dart out and try to overtake me and the car in front of me i hit it. i was doing 50 or 55 and just started to pull this guy like no tomorrow. i stayed in it to about a hundred then let off. i look back and there was major major space between us. he did the catch back up thing real quick, like he was close to winning. he ended up following me to the place i was going and as i got out of my truck and looked at him he turned his face away as to not see me. jackass!
second one (same day), happend on a four lane road. i happened to get next to a hemi at a red light. he looked and did the "i have 20 inch rims and a 345 hp engine, so i will kill your chevy" look. well, i took it easy off the line as did he untill we got to about 25 and he guns it. so i gunned it and same thing as above. i start pulling hard. as soon as my cab was even with his bumper he let off like traffic was in the way (which there wasn't). anyway, i think i have some dodge guys gunning for me now. i have raced quite a few in the small town i live in and i think they are getting wise to me.
both were quad cabs. the results were as expected.
