The truck has been debagged except for the tailgate, I put the stepside on because I think they look better than a fleetside and they are about 80# lighter, I have no plans right now for a roll pan because I pull a trailer occasionally. I have plans to install a Tahoe Z71 grill and front bumper and paint it to match the truck but Rome wasn't built in a day and I have been concentrating more on the go than on the show.Originally posted by kinjo1977@May 11 2004, 11:34 PM
You should have kept the fleetside.
It would have made it look lower.
Here is a list of things for you to get to finish off your ride.
1. SirMicheals roll pan
2. Paint top and valence parts of front bumper or replace it.
3. T-Rex billet grille or inserts if ya wanna be cheap
4. Escalade door handles
5. Get rid of bug deflector!
6. 15% Tint all around or darker if ya prefer
7. New tail lights but try to avoid the euros, looks bad on stepside beds
8. Shave the Tail gate handle off, that includes ripping that funky spoiler off and filling in the annoying holes it leaves behind.
9. Debadge the truck
10. Bed Cover....Your pick.. a CheckMate flush bedcover would be sweet
11. Interior looks decent but I would suggest Katzkins Leather.
That about cuts it for now. You should be able to get all that done for around 2,500 to 3000. It will look awesome afterwards.
These are all things I have done similarly but mine is a pewter fleetside, minus an LS1, and add 22" spinners.
Congrats on a nice ride, soon to be even better.![]()
