Today was a good test for these Fans. I was in a stop light today it was about 102* AZ. So l look down on the temp and it was @ 250* HOT. and it was going higher. So I pulled over and the FANS are not on. I turn off the truck and I had to wait 45min to get the engine back ti 200* . So I waited and then the FANS come on. I go home and they wont turn back on... .

    Someone help!!!

Does anyone know how to set the VSC box so the fans are on all the time. Not use the probe and the A/C.. Which terminals need to be set.

move the prob over to the driver side of the radiator and if you have a 160 stat turn the screw all the way down so it comes on at 180 degrees if you still have stock thermo stat then set it half way later, kevin

I have no experience with the new fans but don't they have the option for the manual overide switch like the old ones?

    I have a 150 signal that I have on a manual switch.

This week i'll be finishing up the relays and fan harnesses, they have been proven on my truck for 2years now and on my brother and father laws trucks for a few months now.
I'll put up another with more info,

if you're interested, it might be a nice alternative to the vsc, i've seen two of them burn up so far.

    later,

    allen

Probly the 40 amp version then. If it has 4 lights on the front and 4 metal prongs on the front its the 40amp, if you got 3 lights and 2 prongs its the 25amp. If you got the 25 amp call flex-a-lite and they will send you the 40amp one.
