    dude just do like me and strap a turbo to that 2.4 ka. mines putting down close to what a stock 5.3 is and i still get 25mpg if i stay out of boost. and can drive it to the track throw on some DR's and rip off low low 13's. and i'm only on 7-8psi. i cant say that about my TBSS. if i get larger injectors and turn up the boost i see easy 12's in the near future. the stock ka24de has been proven to 500 hp on stock internals.

    Hey bro, check out my build up thread. http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/lsx-t...-lsx-swap.html
    I'm currently working on getting all the parts needed for my swap (5.3l into my 240). The regular 5.3l (iron block and aluminum heads) is only 80 pounds heavier than the all aluminum LS1, and it's about a third the cost. So far finding a TAC module and harness has been the hardest part for me so far.
    Another thing, your going to want to run a ls1 or ls6 style intake off of the camaro's, as well as a full camaro accessory setup for clearance issues.
    Here's a great site for ls1/sb v8 swaps in 240's: silviav8forums.com :: Index
    There's also a few threads on LS1tech.com

    Feel free to hit me up on AIM: littlemunny4 anytime...I have TONS of ls1 swap information and links saved.
    Good luck
    Tanner
    There's no replacement for displacement.
