    First, which is better?

    Is one compatable with the other?

    I can tell you edit does everything you need and isn't the most intuitive application, and being that HP tuners looks very similar you can expect the same, however, HP tuners does have a support forum.

    well I have the thought to maybe get one or the other, Brian (ProjectR) showed me ls1 edit yesterday and IMO it could be laid out better, however, it does seem very powerful in terms of # of items one can edit/tune.

    Plus it adds another dimension to tuning which is very appealing....
