    stall converters

    Im running the texas speeds tr224/224 581/581 ls1 112 cam and was wondering if a 2300-2500 stall would be fine or do I need to step it up a notch?
    1999 5.3 ex cab 3/5 drop, k&n CAI, BBK 80mm TB, Pace setter longtubes, 3" ory, hooker aero muffler, TS 224r cam w/112 lsa, comp cam 918 springs, TS chromoly pushrods, 180 degree thermostat, Nelson tune, 3 angle valve job, electric fans, 28x11.50 et streets

    Id go at least 2600 but most likely a 3000

    so the 2800-3200 shold work fine right? btw do you have any pics of your tach mounted inside your truck?

    I have a 2600 and love it,with your cam id go at least 3000

    thanks i believe ill be ordering the stall in the morning, truck looks good like that just wish i xould get my damn tach to work right

    You still having trouble with it....you have the same tach dont you?Ill look at my wires and post up in the morning how mine is hooked up

    i run a 9.5" 3600 in mine.. sacraficed a little top end.. nothing funny gas cant fix
    02 Sierra... motorless for now.
    02 SS.. stock bottom 4.8, 241's, 224-220/116+4, 918's and pushrods, front mount turbonetics 78mm, HKS GTII, TiAL, eBoost2, Yank PT3600, Performabuilt 60e, solid motor mounts. Tuned by me with HP Pro and LM2/AFX
