I've read about this locker and seem to hear a lot more bad than good about it. Wondering if anyone has had one blow up like I've heard people talk about?

slimsilverado is havin probs with his i know... and a few other here have busted them with allot of power on stickies
I enjoyed mine when i was it in mud or snow, Mostly Depends on your driving habits/abuse level or how much power your running+if youv'e got sticky tires/huge tires
I've blown up 2 with a stock engine and transtook my trans with it last time it died, it didn't go gracefully... get something tougher if your going to spend money on one

The factory lockers are good for stock power levels. If performance upgrades are in the works, I would say get a Eaton or Detroit locker and never worry about it. Just my .02

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......
I've probably seen 100 "grenade" in the 8yrs I've been at the stealership. They just don't seem to enjoy extra torque/power as much as we do.![]()
I have a G-80 in mine now and im not happy with it. Me and Vff-Jeff raced a few weeks back and it wont even hook up both tires, i was peg leggin it. I will be installing a Detroit tru-trac here in a few week and i will let yall know how that goes and the improvement.....
your going with the trutrack after all huh? What happened to the auburn?
I bought the Tru-Trac from Jester with bearing kit and dial gauge for 370 shipped... 2 good 2 pass up.... Should arrive today or tomorrow.....
