mine pops that code randomly. i can turn off the truck for a couple minuts and it returns to normal but the engine light is still on. i have to disconect the batt. for around 30min and the light goes away.

This is common with high stall converters and can easily be fixed with tuning as mentioned above. Vince

i was able to clear the codes for him the other day but i don't have his tune on my laptop so i can't clear the test code out

I get that code and for a wile my truck would slip into 3rd wile on the highway then it just stopped the lights still on. I got a stock tranns and tune ever heard of this.
