Well it took 3 weeks but the truck seems to be doing better. I dropped it off at Austin Drivetrain on tuesday morning. They had it done Tuesday evening. I said screw Exotic Kustoms and I just decided to bite the bullet and pay some extra dollas to get it fixed. Turns out they used some cheap new japenese ring and pinion. Not only that but the ring/pinion depth, as well as the backlash was off by alot. Oh and top of it they found pieces of metal left in there from where they didnt clean it all out. Like not shavings, big pieces. SO I got the guys at ADT to right me out a report and give me the old parts back. I am going to see if Exotic Kustoms will reimburse me for all this heartache. At least some kind of reimbursement would be nice.
