I was talking to Allen about maybe getting a tune for my 99 Z71. The main reason I'm interested in it is my Hypertech just isn't cutting it anymore. Theres this dude with a regular cab 2wd HEMI that keeps talking smack to me. I've raced him once, and he only beat me by about a truck lenght and I've got 285's. Allen just asked me to ask some people that have had his tune already on a Z71. I'd really like to know if you like it and any other information you might offer. I'm sick and tired of that Mopar prick running his mouth and I'd like to end it once and for all.

Well, I have been able to keep up very nicely with my friends 2wd QC Hemi. I haven't tried him from a dead stop. But up top I was able to pull on him a little(70 mph & up) Allen's tune vs a Hypertech is like comparing Jessica Simpson to Yoko Ono!!

I lied, I have tried him from a dig. It was the first tune that Allen did for me. By the time we hit 70 my front bumper was at his back bumper. I was pretty happy. But Allen has tweaked the tune a little since then.

Well I've about decided to get one of allen's tunes. All I have to do now is sell the 'ole Hypertech. Thanks for the response, I'm kind of partial to not buying something unless I've found out as much as I can about it first.

I think that's a good call. You'll have a hard time finding someone to say something negative about a Nelson Tune.

if possible, go with the 93 octane tune, it's well worth it and you may offset the price of with better gas mileage,

with the 93 tune, you should be able to take him, if it's somewhat close now.

    thanks a lot,

    allen
