someone at work totaled their '03 silverado and was able to salvage a few parts. the digital climate control is one part that i was interested in buying from him. will this unit work in my '06 silverado?

Sure will....just lay it on the dash and it will automatically pick up the coded signal from the computer relay that's embedded in the dash. Once it receives the signal it will beep three times. Swap units and you're good to go.

Hey you going down to Ennis on the 10th? I believe we have a highway encounter to continue.

Oh, and all that stuff I said about the climate control was bull. I was just messing with ya.

You will need to reprogram the Body Control Module, get ALL the wiring harness(including the overhead harness) and start tearing up your truck....... I was also told the '06 has a different BCM set up than the '03. Call a junk yard, they should be able to tell you more about hte BCM issue.

    Good Luck
