H-Pipe

Had an H-pipe put on my truck today. I wanted an X-pipe but the guys that put my exhaust on when I got my truck didn't leave enough room for one, so I had to settle with the H-pipe. It actually made my exhaust sound more mellow, and its not as loud as before. When I save some money up I want to change the whole thing out and put bigger pipes and get some headers, but I dont thing that there is still room for an X-pipe.

Can someone tell me how to upload a vido clip from Photobucket. I can&#39;t figure it out. And whats the use in tell ya&#39;ll about my exhaust if I can&#39;t let ya&#39;ll hear it.

when you reply, look at the top of the edit box where there is a blue circle, which is a world with a link.. click that and ctrl+v the link in there..

Alright, I will explain it the best way I can. I have true dual&#39;s. as everyone knows, with true dual’s you have one pipe from each manifold. Well from what I have seen, if you u run this set up its like you are running two four bangers under you hood if your have a V-8. By connecting them with and X-pipe or H-pipe it equals out the pressure and is supposed to make your truck run smoother through the RPM band. Now a Y-pipe, correct me if I&#39;m wrong, is were your exhaust coming from your manifolds go into one pipe like it is on a stock set up. Now the H-pipe gives you a more mellow sound and an X-pipe is supposed to give your exhaust a more Deeper sound. Anyone else want a shot at it

ok i got that all pretty good so far haha i know what the y pipe is haha i took it off i just didnt know if they make aftermarket 1s that r high flow? thats good to know but idk why ud wanna level out the pressure, its prob JUST ONE OF THOSE THINGS that r better haha like urinals and regular shitters haha&#33;

I could tell a little difference in the way the truck drive drove and sounded. They do make aftermaket Y-pipe also. Those guys running pase setters can get bigger Y-pipes for there set up.
