Check your oil pump under the truck to see if it comes on. It should run for a second every time the key is turned on. It is more than likely that the resistor that makes the turbo oil pump went bad. I think Alton's truck did this once.

Yes. It doesn't pump oil to the turbo the engine does that, it returns the oil from the turbo to the oil cap.

Not a safety feature! A turbo can handle 0 pressure on the seals but must have a constant flow of oil. If it were front mounted, the flow would be gravity feed back into the engine. Since we are rear mounted there must be a pump to return the oil to the engine or else it would pool up inside the turbo and spit out everywhere.

check your pipng bro, but i dont think youll have any oil in them, its best to carry a spare relay just incase it fails. I had my relay fail and my truck smoked like a S O B, it scarred the crap out of me, but i found the relay was bad and i bought some spares at auto zone. They are the same as the relays for driving lights.

thanks, i will get some tomorrow. my pump is working on high not on low and i found out as i was testing the truck after the clean that the battery is bad so i will pick up one of those tomorrow. scared the piss out of me when i gunned it and the lights dimmed and the motor started to shut down. i almost thought i was going to get that 402 sooner than i had planned.

also, can you clean an O2 sensor?

I guess you are talking about the outside of the O2? I would think some electronics type cleaner would degrease or in your case deoil the o2. I would not soak it. Maybe just wipe it clean or car wash it.
