Well, I guess the title is official!

    My Webpage

Guinness World Records, Ltd. certifies the 2003 Ford SVT F-150 Lightning as "World's Fastest Production Pickup Truck."
"Off the showroom floor" Ford SVT F-150 Lightning reached over 147 mph.

Chevy needs something out of the box that can compete with the lightning and the SRT-10. Truck'n had an article this month about the SRT-10 and how much better it is than the lightning.

that sure is fast for a truck though, i wish chevy would put the ls1 in there and pep it up a tad, then there'd be competition.

Yep, and throw a Radix on there and the lightning wouldn't know what hit it, or at least flew right past it.

Hey, get this I was at the international auto show in tampa last week and got to talk to some GM designers. When I asked about power they said that there is no demand for it and that most people wouldn't buy it. I then added if people don't want power why is it that so many people are buying stuff for their trucks and they said because people want to individualize their trucks. I told them it was a bunch of shit and that if they didn't get their game together I'd be heading to ford with a lot of other peope. For god sakes, the new SS silverado can't even beat a harley truck. I love to hate GM. Sorry for my bitching it just seems they don't think they just do what they want to without asking their clientl (SP?).
