1/4 time??

I have a 2003 silverado v6 that i put in a 2005 5.3 V8. The truck has a volant CAI with the ram air scoop, borla muffler, and a hypertech programmer. I was wondering what could this truck make in the 1/4? I plan on adding 4.10 gears and positraction later. Also, it is a 2wd regular cab, short bed, stepside.

i'd say maybe mid-low 15s, high 14's, before the gears. id do away with the hypercrap and get a nelson. then you will be seeing some numbers that will make you happy

yeah i know, thats what I want to do, probably like in a month or so i&#39;ll go pay a visit to SA to get the tune. I am also wanting to get e-fans. What should I get first: the gears and posi, nelson tune, or e-fans.

TUNE&#33;&#33;&#33;

You need the tune for those other to work properly, so why not start there? Plus, Allen&#39;s updates are free so you can do the other two whenever you are ready.

Tune will give you the most gains too IMO.

yes get the tune first. that alone will knock 1/2 second or more in the 1/4

tune first and have him enable the fans inside of the pcm when he does it. almost killing 2 birds with one stone. like 1.5 birds lol.
