i have a sierra that i wanted to mount a trans temp guage in, check this out it took me sometime but i was able to make it work. I used 3mm carbon fiber for the backing. let me know what you think. (i may even patent this thing) http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e310/nov...ge/MVC-041S.jpg

OK, i know this is an old thread, but im going to be picking up a 2005 GMC Sierra RCSB with a 5.3 auto and in the guage cluster is doesnt have the trans temp guage, and i know on the 99-02 trucks you could get a cluster from a 3/4 ton that had the trans temp guage and swap in the whole cluster, can you do this same thing with the 03-05 trucks as well?

The only part number for a cluster i have been able to find is the 03 Silverado SS cluster with the white face and it has the trans temp guage, but is over 400 bucks.
