Did you get your parts in yet? I'm just curious about how much hp you'll be making and how that stall turns out.

I am missing the converter and the belt for the underdrive pulley. The rest of the parts or at the house. I am still thinking about a cam and nitrous. I am planning to get the rest of them installed by the end of the month. There is a car show up here Memorial weekend with a dyno here. I have not called to find a dyno around here at a shop. I hope that will give me time to get the rest of the parts in. I am keeping you up to date. I am thinking about get 02 simm also so I can take the cat's off and make it a bolt on just in case I have to do emissions. So far things are going good.

Hey Allen I am posting here so move it were you want. Part install going good so far. Best laid plan do not work all the time. I have the stall converter in underdrive pulleys and a electric fan. The 282 Flex a lite fan does not fix all 99 silverado trucks. I need to find a place that has electric fans down here in PCB. There wed site was good as far as haveing a location that stocked there fans. My rad. is 15X26 rounded down. He guy doing the work for me did not want to do the servo or shift kit. My friend said he would. Got the cat's removed and it sounds great. All the guys at the shop like it. Does not even sound like a 5.3L SWEEEEEET. I have pictures coming wed site my friend has full so he is working on that.( Allen I will send them to you or tell you were to go.) 02 simm's wrong part # I am having to get them overnighted to me. Nitrous kit 10 days to get so I have to make another trip down here ( damm I do hate coming down here). Install are going easy. I could not use you electric fan to pcm because I do not have a programer. I had to order the belts from a local supplier because the belt that were to come with the pulley did not ship with the pulley and was over 10 days of shipping. The motor does look good with the headers. I know I know pictures will be coming. I like the way it sound and looks. I hope it will run now. I still have not drove it. But I heard two different people say that it torque's up nicely and the other said need a shift kit (at the shop and need time to install) I am happy this is getting done  Boy I am bad but having fun.

Sorry for the delayed response, i've been out of town all weekend.

can you go into detail about the fans and pcm, youi lost me on that one?

    thanks,

    allen
