I have got the last program loaded and she feels a lot quicker and the trans problem has gone away. I am planning on going to the dyno tomorrow to see the true differance in a stock program truck and a Nelson Performance Programed truck. I real like the way she running now. I am planing on just doing some motor only runs. It I can I will do a NO2 run. I have not been able to find someone that wanted to line up. I am looking like aways. I do need to talk to them about A/F testing so I can get the fine tuning done. This week has not been good getting to the house. We will fine out one day.

So it felt much better and only that much gain, i knew you were down on power before, so i was expecting more, that first file i sent you wasn't a full tune, try that file number 3 that would have been the full tune. I'm curious to see how much that one makes. too bad you didn't have a laptop, doh btw, I'm taking 99 red's truck one step at a time, so it will get much better.

good deal on the trans, i'm glad that cleared the problem up.

btw, does that dyno give you air temp, humidity, all those environment stuff?

    later,

    allen

I do have a 3200 stall and as far as weather I am not sure but I have not seen anything that would say yes or no. I thought 17 hp was good. I was supprised. I am more supprised I can get more out of her. I got the laptop in the truck today. I will upload the new at lunch. I will make the trip again tonight.

That isn't too bad. I seen people spend thousands to get 17 rear wheel HP!

I was wondering about your old trans problem...from what I remember it wasn't shifting correctly and I'd bet that TqMgt had a lot to do with that.

Your PCM will also go through a learning process so it will get better for sure no matter what tune you are going to go with.

Eitherway 17whp is a big ass gain...some headers don't give you that much power! Plus playing with the TqMgt some I am sure helped the equation.

From what I remember '99s were more detuned than others timing wise.

little off topic but, a guy with an 02 ram did a Heads/Cam on top of his existing blower...dynoed 390 a couple days after the cam/heads install. he went back to the dyno with the same mods/truck/conditions and pulled 416rwhp...his pcm learned.
