Well I have the correct chip sitting at the house patiently awaiting install.

My downpipe is at Jet Hot, I still have to wait for it. It is being mailed out on the 24th by FedUp..er..FedEx ground.

High flow intercooler hoses are floating about in the mail also. I wish they would hurry up.

So within about 10 days I'll be up 60-70whp

What turbo and intercooler are you using? How much boost are you going to run?
Does your new chip retard timeing under boost?

I haven't ran in the 1/4 mi...I ran a 94-95 5.0 once from a roll with an off road H and Flows and pulled him slowly.

I figure with about 60-70 more wheel hp, I'd pull like he was standing still.

Sadly stock turbo and stock intercooler...I want an APS front mount and a slightly more efficient turbo via a larger compressor and a ported exhaust end. From what I understand as the boost pressure rises that chip will pull timing to keep from detonation.

Pressure wise I am going to hit 16.5 from 3500-5500 then taper off the 13psi by 6500rpm shit point. The stock turbo isn't very efficient at high boost levels....hence why a slightly larger compressor is in my future.

I plan to stay about 17-18psi or what can be run on 93 pump. I have seen quite a few rod bearing failures due to excessive boost...I don't feel like replacing the motor anytime here. The stock bearing just aren't up to the task for some reason.

For the upgraded turbo I am still unsure on what size to go with and what I need it to do. I need to make a list of what I need it to do, my application, etc to find the best one for me.

Oh yeah...I got those hoses yesterday and installed them this morning. Seems to help spool up a bit faster now and good for 10rwhp
