I am new to site anxious to get started . I have a 1998 Chevrolet C1500 Series Truck with Vortex V8 5.7 liter. My truck ran when I decided I wanted to buy it. Alot has happened and it has sat for approx 3 years and did not start when I purchased it in early 2020 . I have taken it to many mechanics and garages only to be outrageously cherged with adsolutely no progress or getting it started . I decided to learn about the electrical side of the truck to save money on no results. That's is how I come here to learn , identify correct specifications for my year make and model of truck from sources that are credible and accurate. I have found so much wrong diagrams and examples that I know the information I need is available , I need some direction and facilitation in finding ,repairing , diagnosing , upgrading and shoptalking with fellow Chevy afficianados. To bring my 98 truck to optimum ass kicking Chevy performance!! I am in process of 0411 swap have all the parts and need the assistance of Lextech and the highly regarded spreadsheet so my transition goes smooth and without mistakes. I look forward to sharing anything I can do or help anyone with the knowledge I have and to expand my knowledge to precise , effective and accurate specifications, swaps, diagnose and find out how to fix , learn and turn the average truck into a high performance fine tuned asphalt shredder. For now the spread sheet from highly recommended Lextech and the spreadsheet for my truck . I'm new so if any 1 can point the direction for Lextech please help me contact Lextech and begin the 0411 swap
