    Cam install made easy

I just wanted to say thanks to this site and the other ones for all of the info and tools that made my cam swap a breeze. Tims valve spring tool made the spring swap a breeze and dirt track racer 81's balancer install tool was easy. No grunting required. In case you were wondering I did ls6 springs with hardened pushrods, the comp cams trunion upgrade while I was there and put in a comp cams 212/218 low lift. Oh and huge shout out to Nelson tuning for the re-tune. I had used them 3 or 4 years ago for my base tune and just called them up for the retune and it was easy! Cheers!

I like it a lot so far. 2000 ecsb 5.3L 4wd. Got a little bit of a lope on the idle....definitely pulls stronger. I have not put my foot in it yet...want to get a few heat cycles on the new springs....but it's snappier so far.
