    Wire

What kind of wire would I need to buy to build my own harness, and where would I find it? The one I have is a mess and want to clean up the engine by re-routing wires and relocating the PCM.

If u got the time for it then I congradulate you. You will be there for days rewiring it. Try getting a 2nd harness and use those wires to lengthen what needs to be. Then solder, double heat shrink with waterproof marine heat shrink tubing. Then tape up wires with good quality electrical tape and wire loom.
