I have a 2008 chevy z71 5.3 with 8" lift on 20" rockstars with nitto terra grapplers, it's not perky, so i am looking for a cam, need to know everything i need to do for the swap, sizes (to big or to small), if i need springs, valves or anything else, and how hard it would be to do it

Ull need springs, hardened pushrods, gaskets, head bolts. id upgrade the timing chain, and all ur fluids

well usally smart people do lifters and such i guess i dont know the Canadian secret please do tell

I didn't do lifters in mine. I didn't do lifters in my brothers. I don't know ANYONE that has done a straight cam swap and done the lifters unless they were replacing DOD lifters.
