Ok i have an 02 gmc just got the unversal pump jw if there is any mod to put it in my factory pump bucket? an is there a wright up about it on how to install on here
They job takes about an hour to install in the factory bucket, you have to enlarge the factory inlet hole in the bottom of the bucket a hair larger then 1/2" die grinder works great for that part, and the "webbing" in the bottom of the bucket needs to be removed and made flat. Use caution during this step as to not weaken the plastic by removing to much material to make it flat, also try not to grind a hole in the bucket floor. I think I google searched my install.....but it is super straight forward. You will also need to buy a 1' piece of Fuel Injection hose from Gates or equivalent, I will look for the part number for you if I still have it, and I will look to find the write up I made when I did it.
