    Chevy- $50.7 billion/$23.5 billion (46%)
    Chrysler- $10.8 billion/$9.4 billion (87%)
    Ford- $5.9 billion/$148 million (2.5%)

    might be wrong but I thought ford paid off theirs middle of last year?

    Nope they just paid off other debtors to get the rights to the blue oval etc back. The difference between their stimulus, GM and chrystler was it wasn't a loan or ownership just help.

    Thot ford didn't want the money, they made them take it. And also how did GM pay that much back when there still on the verg of bankrupt?

    What the hell are you talking about? They are at 5 million posted profit this year with no tax liability in the near future(next few years). Their numbers for the next few months are looking really good as well since they are set to release a bunch of new vehicles especially new trucks which the housing market is picking up now meaning a major need for new trucks. Perfect timing. The government owns a majority share in the company meaning actual stock. Every once in a while they sell a large number of shares. Unfortunately said shares are worth less than in the past so they are losing some on the investment. For that reason they haven't dumped many more shares.
