The guy that built my 700 says it should be usable behind the LS6 I am planning on. It's all in my 1990 burb. I hate to trash the 700 without at least getting to do some 4LO tugs first. Doable? Or just skip it and go another route?

I ran one in my 99 Silverado for a while and hated it!
I would go another route. Especially if you
Are running drive by wire. The 700 needs a tv cable which controls
Line pressure and if you get in the wrong adjustment it
Gonna be toast in high gear. I run a carbed tunnel ram SBC
So I had to make a bracket for my tv.
I personally run a 700 And have burned it a few times. Till
ive made a few mods internally to keep from happening again
These mods are far beyond any shift improved
Or reprogram kit you can find, we just been doing this awhile.
.Keep in mind my little truck only
Makes around 400 to the wheels. If you want it to last like everything
Else you gotta sink a little money into it. Running that new of an engine
I would ditch it an run an 60e or 80e if your seeking OD.
Im going to be running mine carbureted. This 700 was said to be built good for 600hp since i killed the first one in 3 months. I would rather have a nv4500 but not sure it would last either.
If my NV3500 has lasted through the last year of hell I've put it through, a 4500 will be fine.
